The graphics in this latest installment of GTA from Rockstar is really topnotch, no more squiggly lines, chiseled and polygonal people, lackluster and rather drab background. In this game, everything is so detailed that you can almost smell the hot asphalt of the battered streets and the blood from mangled bodies piling as you wreck havoc with a wide arsenal of weaponry ranging from stilettos, baseball bats, automatic rifles, Molotov cocktails and grenades.

The game has the feel of a really good “God of War” imitation because of the same wide and foreboding, hack-and-slash gameplay with unending battles and ghastly enemies from somebody’s nightmare. It starts out as fun with topnotch CGI animations and action-packed battles that gets you acquainted with the controls right after pressing the start button. Striking monsters of blood, gore and despair try to bring you down and you must face them over and over again in the circles and rivers of hell.
